A spokesperson said: "Upon receiving reports of the item, our officers conducted multiple inspections and served a total of three notices on June 17, Nov 6 and Nov 19 for the removal of potential killer litter. "A service card was also issued on Nov 6, during which our officer managed to speak with the resident. While the resident complied initially, the item was subsequently placed out again. "The Housing & Development Board (HDB) had been informed of the matter as well, though their earlier inspection did not find the item present. "During our most recent site visit on Nov 20, the item was not observed." However, Irene said the neighbour had left her bamboo pole out again on Nov 21.
