I just dont understand we are one of the richest country in the world man why our citizens have to suffers from proverty i can understand like philippines because of corruption Singapore? Corruption? i thought someone said .. Paid well to prevent corruption I was thinking ...world highest paid gov. Is our living good? Singapore is 60 years old now Is our life better now than before? My cpf promised to get from 55 to 65 Things were so affordable when i was younger i stayed in 3...5..rooms hdb before And i havent had any problems financially Over fore father keeps telling us to buy a big hdb as you can... 5 room hdb were considered normal then accept private properties That i can understand cars also considered a luxury That i also can understand as bus and taxis wete cheap then No one complains about food cost and most happy with the quality my dad was the only one who is working and i enjoy quality life back then Even my dad salary wasnt high I was a happy young lad ..going through teen..then adulthood I now considered a merdekan and i am proud of myself my full respect to LEE KUAN YEW i am so glad and fortunate to have live under your wings

but the gov. is supporting the taxi drivers indirectly by increasing the waiting time signal change at most junctions to even 2.5 mins so that taxi drivers would make an extra 0.78 cents just by waiting at traffic junctions ( 0.26 cents per 0.45 secs. ). LTA even add on the NO TURNING RIGHT ARROW on vehicles making right turns creating longer waiting time for drivers as the arrow would only turn green for a few seconds and the driver needs to wait for the next round of traffic light changes to proceed. The plan backfires as stakeholders realized the price is due to such a rule and jump onto ride hailing platforms as its the same price regardless of how to long does it take to reach the destinations. Then LTA claims drivers are speeding more recently without seeking the truth behind it nor brainstorming sessions and mobilising more snippers on bridges to track down speedsters. You know what, driver speeds more recently is to catch up lost time wasted on the new extended timings on traffic junctions. On most traffic junctions, vehicles were already cleared on the other directions but we still need to wait and wait due to those wasted extended timings implemented. The best part is that LTA claims its for safely reasons which i can never understand. I wrote to LTA 03 times. First reply was an auto reply as it doesnt tally with my questions. I wrote in again to bombard them. An officer replied me which i disagreed with good reasons. On my 3rd letter to them, they have not replied me till date ( already 2 weeks )
